Earners of this badge attended an 8-hour workshop with Ted Neward. Earners were given the opportunity to practice architecting a software system while facing a “real world” business problem (the kata). Earners formulated their project’s architectural vision, defended questions about their choice in technology and approach, and evaluated others’ efforts. Earners realized the importance of the architect’s mind and the customers’ participation and feedback in architecting a software system.
