Our charges is to make sure the college experience and college community is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. During this training you will learn and practice strategies that can help create a more inclusive and accessible campus community, including best practices for interacting with people with disabilities and how to create accessible course content, and materials, interacting and creating with accessibility in mind to foster a culture of accessibility across LCCC.

Earning Criteria

Participants will gain an understanding of how: The impact and personal views of disability, best practices for interacting with people with disabilities, to make accessbile documents by utilizing the common tools and resources that are already available, and learn how to use the LCCC video platform to close caption video content
