Internship had a defined beginning and end based on a job description with desired qualifications, and acquired skills and knowledge are transferable to other employment settings. Experience encompassed supervision and routine feedback by a professional with expertise and educational and/or professional background in the field of the experience. Also, internship may have included remuneration, completed traditionally or remotely/virtually.
Gained relevant experience in the internship as an extension and application of classroom knowledge, including clearly defined learning objectives/goals related to the professional goals of academic coursework. In addition, resources, equipment, and facilities were provided by the host employer to support learning objectives/goals.
