This designation is bestowed upon Lehman College students, faculty and staff who participate in the Human Library at Lehman College as a Human Book. Human Books are part of a worldwide movement for social change that challenge and break down barriers of stereotype, prejudice, discrimination, stigma and bias through positive and respectful dialogue.
