The recipient of this badge has completed the Public Interest Technology Data Science Corps (PIT-DSC) program. Funded by the New America Foundation, the PIT-DSC is a collaboration between Columbia University and Lehman College. Program participants work together in teams on data science projects focused on improving underserved communities in New York City. The program includes a bootcamp that provides students with technical and soft skills needed to work effectively in data science teams.
