Teaching and Learning with Technology badge is awarded to teacher candidates, cooperating/mentor teachers and faculty who demonstrate satisfactory skills in using technology in teaching and learning in PK-12 classrooms and/or higher education. School of Education in partnership with expert independent contractors who are former NYC DOE teachers offer educational technology workshops for Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, etc. for all teacher candidates, cooperating/mentor teachers and faculty.

Earning Criteria

To earn this badge teacher candidates, cooperating/mentor teachers and faculty must participate in Google Classroom/MS Teams Workshop Series (6 – 10 hours). Teacher candidates, cooperating/mentor teachers and faculty are also eligible for the badge if they share their use of various technology tools during presentations, office hours, etc.
