Introduction to Robotics (Advanced Level)
Issued by
AMTCE
This individual has successfully completed the Advanced Level Robotics program, delivered by the AMTCE, and run in partnership with KUKA, a world leader in Automation. This program provides essential information about robot programming and executing Expert level tasks using variables, arrays, structures, and programming a KUKA robot with KUKA Robot Language. In practical modules the learner has applied knowledge and created complex robot programs such as a multidimensional palletizing routine.

Earning Criteria
-
This individual is able to carry out expert level tasks and program in long hand KUKA Robot Language (KRL). This includes utilising user defined variables, arrays and structures, and incorporating the use of control functions such as loops, conditional statements and switch statements into their programs.
-
This individual can apply their knowledge to create more complex robot programs such as multi-dimensional palletizing and depalletizing routines.
-
This individual has knowledge in cycle time optimization and dialog messaging.
-
This individual has created and executed programs using digital inputs, digital outputs and synchronized outputs (SYN-OUT).
-
This individual understands the mastering principle, and can demonstrate how to calibrate and use different tool and base coordinate systems in conjunction with the robot.
