Students learn the basics of creating vector images. Gain an understanding of anchor points and paths, and how to manipulate them using the selection tools and modifier keys. Become familiar with work spaces, working with objects, creating and saving swatches, and formatting text. Gain experience using the drawing tools such as the shape tools, transform tools, and the paintbrush and pen tools to create logos, backgrounds and simple illustrations.
