The COVID Vaccinator Digital Badge prepares students to safely administer vaccines that protect against SARS-CoV2, the organism that causes COVID-19. This competency-based training in vaccine administration policies and procedures for vaccines authorized in the United States includes skill validation in intramuscular deltoid injection.

  • Learned content specific to preparation and administration of COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Web-based CDC module tests must be passed with a score of 80% or better.
  • Learned how to prepare and administer a deltoid IM injection.
  • Successfully demonstrate three simulated vaccinations in the skills lab setting.
