Verified Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
Issued by
Cleveland State University, Division of Continuing and Extended Education
Operation and control of chemical processes are critical and must be carefully considered for personnel safety, environmental safety, and product quality. In most chemical plants, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) are essential for safety and operational reliability. Hence introducing student engineers to the hardware and software aspects of PLCs is important to prepare for the industrial business sector. Hands-on PLC lab experience conveyed basics of Rockwell ladder logic.
