Participants will learn how to respond more effectively to problems involving diversity in interpersonal relationships and within groups and communities. They will also be able to use their knowledge and skills to build more inclusive work environments. Participants will earn a Safe Zone LinkedIn badge upon completion of the workshop.

Complete and analyze diversity self-profiling assessment to reveal self identities and how they fit into the scope of intersectionality. Participants leverage self-awareness of these strengths to understand and evaluate potential roles as employees, team members, and emerging leaders in the workplace.

Develop and enhance interpersonal communication. Participants will be able to adapt their communication skills to a more diverse population to assist in developing an inclusive work environment for employers.

Advocate for a diverse environment. Participants will understand different strategies for cultivating a progressive mentality for team success.
Standards
The Safe Zone Project, serving over 25,000 educators in over 100 countries, has developed a free online resource to provide education to individuals about topics of sexuality, gender, and LGBTQ+ issues.
