Problem Definition is a customised user empathy and insight generation course developed for Simplot. Participants applied empathy research skills and techniques to identify what is important to users, then used the Empathy Map to both unpack and distil their research before synthesising and crafting key findings into user insight statements. These statements were then tested and checked. The top user insights were then crafted into Idea Briefs to inspire and focus idea generation.
