Earning Criteria

The badge earner must complete the MDC Foundations of Cybersecurity course which focuses on key areas critical to being a successful cybersecurity professional. The badge earner must demonstrate their knowledge and skills via hands-on exercises that includes creating a cloud environment, working with industry-leading security tools such as firewalls and SIEMs, performing basic scripting, and creating networks in virtual labs and in the cloud using software-defined networking.
