Career Experience Program (CEP) Hosting Manager
Career Experience Program hosting managers are individuals across CO+I who aspire to build leadership skills through a 90-day role hosting opportunity for Datacenter employees. They are responsible for creating an enriching learning experience, answering questions and having one-on-one feedback sessions with the candidate throughout the experience while leveraging the 70-20-10 Development Philosophy and keeping the candidate engaged and as part of Model/Coach/Care throughout the program.

Earning Criteria

Must complete a 30-60-90-day plan for the role you are hosting with clear deliverables and learning outcomes defined based on the Microsoft 70-20-10 Development Philosophy. Experiences must be blended with 70% on the job exposures, 20% mentor/coaching from hosting manager or team and 10% by self-paced learning via team resources or formal channel such as CO+I Academy and Viva Learning.

Participated in hosting more than two successful 90-Day Career Experience cohorts as a CEP hosting manager.

Throughout each Career Experience Program (CEP), demonstrated the Microsoft Leadership Principles of Model, Coach and Care. Role Modelling demonstrating abilities by performing tasks in front of candidate, explaining the purpose/importance of tasks, and sharing best practices. Teaching transferring/developing knowledge and abilities. Coaching Improving abilities and inspiring new thinking or behavior through assisted self-discovery.

Consistently demonstrates the ability to coach, provide clarity, feedback and enriching experience for CEP candidates. Received positive feedback from CEP candidates during Program team check-ins. This is required to be met for more than two cohort rotations.
