The Program Director Capability Academy is an internal Microsoft learning program that offers Microsoft Program Directors an opportunity to build the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience in order to be successful in their role and function at the highest possible performance level when managing complex programs.

Earning Criteria

Completion of the 6 training modules of the Program Director Capability Academy.
Active participation in the academy's learning circles. These learning circles were designed to reinforce the learning and to tap into the experiences of the Program Directors.
Deep reflection around the Microsoft Leadership Principles. This includes completing a Microsoft Leadership Principles 360 Survey.
Completion of capstone project that showcases in-depth understanding of the topics covered in the academy.

Standards

PMI Program Management

Upon completion of the academy, attendees receive PMI credits (PDUs) toward their PgMP certification or renewal.
