Earning Criteria

  • Earning a B- or better in Math 115: Basic Statistics. This 3 credit course is an introduction to the use of statistical methods with emphasis on practical applications. Descriptive statistics, introduction to probability, estimation of parameters, introduction to hypothesis testing, correlation, and linear regression.
  • Earning a B- or better in Math 116: Basic Statistics II. This 3 credit course introduces students to hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, correlation and regression analysis, nonparametric statistics.
