Safe Space Educator
The earner completed the Train the Trainer program which provided a foundation for creating a sustainable Safe Space on campus, developed learning outcomes specific to the campus, learned how to create and conduct interactive Safe Space training workshops, and completed an assessment of campus climate to support the safety and academic success of LGBTQ+ students. In this highly interactive, comprehensive training, the earner received resources from Campus Pride, www.campuspride.org.

Campus Pride is the only national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for student leaders and campus groups working to create a safer college environment for LGBT students. Volunteer-driven “for” and “by” student leaders, Campus Pride develops resources, programs, and services to support LGBT and ally students on college campuses across the US.
