This course reviews the IRS guidance that exists and how it applies to basic transactions which the learner should know. We refer to all digital assets and cryptocurrency as “virtual currency” (per IRS guidance). The Taxation of Digital Assets offers insights into how such assets are taxed and the relevant filing process necessary to correctly account for tax liabilities. The course also discusses tax compliance and helps learners navigate the complex process of filing taxes for digital assets.
