Molson Coors Leadership Development Program (MCLDP) focuses on the skillsets & tools to empower mindset of an effective leader. Leaders will learn through interactive activities and shared practices. At the end of this session, leaders will have insights on how to apply the skills and tools learned.

Earning Criteria

  • All leaders at Molson Coors attend MCLDP. The course agenda includes: SLII (A.K.A Situational Leadership), IDEAS – Inclusion, Diversity, Empathy, Attributes, Coaching, Leading Performance and Talent Management in a High-Performance Culture
  • Living Leadership Completion is a prerequisite. Living Leadership challenges leaders at Molson Coors to be authentic and build a strong growth mindset which will enable leaders to realize our ambition to be first choice.
  • Living Leadership Session 1: Put People First Value Training including: Molson Coors Values, Emergenetics, Arc of Distortion, Masks Activity, Interference, MindTalk, Patterns of MindTalk, Growth vs Fixed Mindset, Cup Stacking Activity, Growth Mindset Activity, Value Card Activity, Calues in Conflict Activity.
  • Living Leadership Session 1.5: Put People First Value Training River of Life.
  • Living Leadership Session 2: Be Bold & Decisive Value Training: GRIT Angela Duckworth Video & Discussion, Risk Taking Lineup Activity. Take Accountability Value Training including: Fail Forward, Learning the Hard Way, Supporting Through Failure, Culture & Performance Management. Learn Everyday Value Training including: GIFT (Giving and receiving feedback) Activity, Active Listening (Story Telling) Activity, SBI Feedback Model & Activity, Motivational States / Boxes, Appreciation, Language.
  • MCLDP Session 1-2: Situational Leadership II® by Ken Blanchard Companies. SLII® is an adaptive leadership style. This strategy encourages leaders to take stock of their team members, weigh the many variables in their workplace and choose the leadership style that best fits their goals and circumstances.
  • MCLDP Session 3: IDEAs (Inclusion, Diversity, Empathy, and Attributes) Leadership Training connects the Molson Coors DEI strategy to culture, explores dimensions of diversity and how it shapes identity and biases, identifies diverse customer/consumer patterns and the impact to business, links leadership roles and influence to the employee life cycle, discusses the privilege of leadership, and maximizes tools to model inclusive behaviors.
  • MCLDP Session 4-5: Bringing it All Together includes Developmental Relationships, GWO Model, Coaching Skills & Practice, Employee Life Cycle, Performance Management, & Talent Management
