Australian International Airshow Student Delegation - Immersion Day

Through an onsite visit to the Australian International Airshow and a unique tour experience focusing on the Australian Space Industry, earners have gained insights into aerospace, space, and defence industries' technology pathways. Earners have participated in a Q&A session with Space Command, explored the Corporate Exposition, and viewed the aerial flying display. Earners have attended an immersion day at the Australian International Airshow, delivered in collaboration with Monash Tech School.

Participated in a Q&A session - Earners have engaged in a Q&A session with industry professionals from Space Command and RAAF. Earners have practised active listening skills and asked thoughtful questions. As a result, students have gained direct insight into the industries and career pathways surrounding Space Command and RAAF.

Explored the Corporate Exposition - Earners have visited designated exhibitor stands, including the STEM pavilion, Defence Space Command, Australian Space Agency, BAE, Boeing, BOM, the Victorian Government, and Lockheed Martin. Earners have been able to use initiative to independently explore the stands, ask questions of the exhibitors and gain insights into an industry-based exposition environment.

Viewed the aerial flying display - Earners have experienced the aerial flying display at the Australian International Airshow. Earners have directly seen the tangible outcomes of the aerospace industry by watching the display. Earners were able to discover how the various industry insights they had gained earlier in the day could contribute to a deeper understanding of pathways in aerospace, defence, and space industries.
