Earning Criteria

• Nursing Care - Earners have engaged in new learning methodologies that enhance collaboration and communication while building valuable healthcare knowledge.
• Allied Health Care - Earners have participated in small group activities, which introduced them to the unit to take clinical measurements and fundamental skills performed by an Allied Health Assistant.
• Pathology Skills - Earners have participated in pathology skills where learners demonstrate techniques including aliquoting, infection control and accurate specimen labelling.
• Lab Skills - Earners have engaged in laboratory techniques, including human cheek cell examination, stereo microscope application and utilisation of pre-prepared slides.
• Simulations in Patient Care Training - Earners have learnt about the importance of simulations in training health care professionals and investigated processes involved in saving a life through an introduction to CPR.
