Earners of the Sustainable Healthcare in Practice Micro-credential have developed skills to influence the healthcare sector’s transition to more sustainable practice. Earning Criteria

Complete the Sustainable Healthcare in Practice Micro- credential. This requires completion of the seven modules, including two assignments. It requires 6-8 hours weekly of directed learning involving: reviewing course materials, participating in 7 online discussions, completing learning activities, and participation in three 90-minute synchronous webinars. This includes: Completion of quizzes across all modules 1-6 with a minimum pass rate of 50%. Completion of discussions across modules 1-7.

Submit and pass assignment 1 “Assessment Task 1: Design a Policy Brief”. This assignment requires participants to research and develop an 1800-word policy brief articulating the rationale for an inclusive sustainable healthcare approach contextualised for a local setting. A local setting may include, for example, a hospital, allied health clinic, aged care facility, public health district/service, pathology lab, research facility or other.

Submit and pass assignment 2 “Assessment Task 2: Develop a proposal for a sustainable healthcare plan”. This assignment requires participants to research and develop a 2400-word proposal for a sustainable healthcare plan contextualised for a local setting (for example, a hospital, allied health clinic, aged care facility, public health district/service, pathology lab, research facility or other).
