Upon successful completion of this course, participants have developed an understanding of neurons and the anatomical and functional organization of the human brain. Participants will also understand how normal brain circuits and sensory perception can be influenced by “attention” and how brain function is measured in the laboratory. At the course's conclusion, participants will be able to develop and run simple psychophysical experiments in their own classrooms with their students.
