Earning Criteria

• Recognize and define basic sewing vocabulary; utilize basic stitching techniques such as a running stitch to compile fabric pieces and create circuits and add buttons and button closures to secure components to fabric.
• Create and utilize sewing patterns to trace and assemble project pieces in the correct size and order.
• Identify and describe the role of circuit components using engineering vocabulary and demonstrate how electricity flows in a circuit.
• Embed a circuit in fabric.
• Make a switch for circuits using sewable snaps.
