Earning Criteria

Students will have completed a course on creating memorable characters in short fiction.
Students have written a short story which includes the creation of characters, writing in descriptive prose and dialogue and using the elements of narrative structure to tell a story.

Standards

Completion of assessment for Unit 2 and Unit 4 of General English, QCAA

Students complete and pass a required assessment for Unit 2 and/or internal assessment 3 for Unit 4, based on QCAA standards.

Students complete the short story course

Students complete all work in the short story course on Creating Memorable Characters in Short Fiction
