Earners construct, perform and film a presentation that is created for a specific purpose and audience. They independently manipulate various modes to enhance the presentation, film themselves and upload it to a digital platform for an online audience. This includes using widely-used methods of rhetoric, identifying language suitable to their audience and the structure and aesthetics of speech writing, as well as in their use of voice and body language.

Earning Criteria

Students will complete a unit of study including methods of rhetoric and speech delivery. This involves choosing an important world topic in the news and providing a solution and call to action to the problem.
Students must deliver a speech and then manipulate digital media for specific purpose. Ability to construct and present content for a specific audience. Ability to film and upload work to digital platforms.

Standards

Completion of assessment for Unit 4 of General English, QCAA

Students complete and receive a very high achievement in this task.
