Earning Criteria

Include structural features of Internet articles such as: A headline, lede and byline; audio or visuals or hyperlinks to similar topics or to attribute sources; short paragraphs to fit the one column format of Internet articles
Write an article or series of articles for the school blog Starving Kids, including altering the copy based on editorial advice.

Standards

Completion of assessment for Unit 1 and/or Unit 3 of General English, QCAA

Students complete and pass a required assessment for Unit 1 and/or internal assessment 1 for Unit 3, based on QCAA standards.
