Standards
NABCEP's Solar Heating Installer program is ANSI Accredited (Accreditation ID #0702). NABCEP follows ISO/IEC 17024:2012 standards for conformity assessment, which provides a global benchmark for personnel certification programs.
This exam follows the National Electrical Code (NEC), which is a standard for the safe installation of electrical wiring and equipment in the United States.
NABCEP Board Certified Professionals must follow the NABCEP Code of Ethics & Standards of Conduct which requires compliance with laws, policies, and rules relating to the profession, professional practice, client privacy, conflicts of interest, and more.
