Earners of this badge must be the student council (also known as student government, associated student body, etc.) adviser in a school that has an active affiliation with National Student Council.
Earners of this badge attended the 2021 National Student Council Conference. These individuals participated in the required number of conference sessions, which featured topics related to the four tenets of National Student Council: Leadership, Service, Engagement, and Student Voice.
Earners of this badge must submit written takeaways and reflections for each of the following components of the National Student Council Conference: four (4) conference keynote speakers; four (4) conference workshops; two (2) Meet-the-Pro presentations; (2) Idea Share sessions; and networking sessions, all of which are subject to approval by National Student Council.
Earners of this badge must submit written proposals on how to turn their experiences and ideas during the National Student Council Conference into action at their schools, including: one (1) best idea or strategy to introduce and use with their student council; one (1) best idea or strategy to share with an administrator for potential implementation; and one (1) best idea or strategy to use for personal leadership development, all of which are subject to approval by National Student Council.
