Individuals can identify and describe symbols used in P&IDs to represent piping components, process equipment and instrumentation. They understand how process piping is depicted on P&IDs, control points are used on drawings to locate work areas horizontally and vertically and how to use coordinates on drawings. They can read and interpret P&IDs, piping arrangement drawings and isometric drawings.
