NCCER Alternating Current (03206)
Issued by
NCCER
Individuals understand the concepts of alternating current, how it is generated and the functions of the components of an AC power supply circuit. They can describe single-phase and three-phase power distribution and can identify resistive and inductive circuits. They are familiar with the function and operation of transformers, capacitors and induction motors. They are able to safely use the appropriate techniques and instruments to test AC components and AC-powered devices.
