Individuals have been introduced to the procedures used to install, remove and repair the cables and conductors that tie the components of aerial systems together. They understand how to splice and terminate cables and conductors. They can explain how to select and size a conductor for a given application. They can describe how to string conductors, tie conductors to insulators, dead-end conductors and perform tensioning and sagging. They are able to safely operate cable-pulling equipment.
