Individuals can identify and describe the applications of reinforcing bars, bar bends and tools safety. They understand how to use tools and equipment to install reinforcing bars, perform bar layout and mark bar crossings. They understand how to place bars in walls, columns, beams, girders, joists and slabs. They can lay out, tie and cut rebar and interpret tags. They can demonstrate and perform various types of ties. This includes wrap and snap, figure 8 and saddle.
