NCCER Construction Site Safety Technician (CSST)

Individuals have received proper journey-level training for a path into the safety profession. They can identify hazards and how to safely use tools, traffic control devices, and fall-protection equipment. They can explain the risks of industry-specific safety hazards and can demonstrate proper safety practices for working at heights, in confined spaces, and with a variety of materials. They have been trained by an appropriate safety instructor under an Accredited Training Program.
