Individuals can identify and describe the operation of HVACR control circuit devices, various thermostats and temperature controls, variable frequency drives (VFD), and electronically commutated motors (ECMs). They understand how to install, troubleshoot, and test the above systems and common control circuits and load components. They can wire, check and adjust the cycle rate of a thermostat, interpret control circuit diagrams, and test/troubleshoot various electrical components.
