Individuals can describe types of pre-action systems, deluge systems and their components. They are familiar with hydraulic and pneumatic release mechanisms. They can trip and reset a deluge valve and can perform a hydrostatic test. They can identify the discharge nozzles used with a deluge system. They can demonstrate the procedures for placing a Firecycle® system in service. They are aware of precautions to observe when placing non-interlocked and interlocked pre-action systems into service.
