Individuals can identify and describe equipment used by workers to test and troubleshoot electrical circuits. They are familiar with voltmeters, ohmmeters, clamp-on ammeters, multimeters and recording instruments. They understand how to safely use specialized line worker test equipment. This includes high-voltage detectors, phase rotation testers, megohmmeters, phasing sticks and hi-pot testers. They are aware of the safety hazards associated with the use of various types of test equipment.
