Individuals have been introduced to workplace electrical hazards. They are able to assess and eliminate shock, arc blast and arc flash hazards according to the safe working requirements of NFPA 70E®. They can explain how to complete an energized electrical work permit if a hazard cannot be eliminated. They can describe lockout/tagout procedures and emergency response procedures. They understand how to implement safety-related work practices and select appropriate personal protective equipment.
