Individuals can identify and describe the uses of common rigging hardware and equipment. They can identify and describe basic rigging and crane safety procedures. They understand how to inspect, select, use and maintain common and special rigging equipment. This includes jacks, block and tackle, chain hoists and come-alongs. They can tie knots, as well as use and understand hand signals.
