They are familiar with flexible and rigid foam, blanket, board, mineral wool, calcium silicate/expanded perlite, and cellular glass insulation. They know how to use cements and fabric finishes, adhesives, vapor retarders, and coatings. They can describe the insulation requirements of steam and process water systems and industrial boilers.
