The methods of assessment include graded assignments and final project with a minimum passing score of 70 percent.

The methods of instruction include audio visual materials, case studies, practical exercises, learner presentations, lectures, discussions, and classroom exercises. The general course topics include getting ready for risk reduction; risk assessment; intervention strategies; and measuring success.
