The course objective is to provide the student with knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA) to plan effectively for significant natural and man-made disasters; command the response to several simulated incidents; and integrate their systems into events requiring specialized resources, preparation and/or a multiagency response in compliance with National Incident Management System (NIMS) guidelines.
