The course objective is to provide an opportunity to extend the learning experienced in prior courses so that future opportunities to exercise leadership are moved to a practice. The Executive Fire Officer (EFO) will develop the ability to conceptualize and employ key processes used by effective executive-level managers in the exercise of adaptive leadership. Prerequisites: ICS-100 prerequisite; ICS-200 prerequisite; Q0462 preferred; Q0463 preferred.

Earning Criteria

The methods of assessment include presentations, written papers, performance rubrics (checklists), and an ARP Oral Defense with a minimum passing score of 80 percent.

The methods of instruction include audio visual materials, case studies, practical exercises, learner presentations, lecture, discussion, and classroom exercises.
