The course objective is to provide training managers with competencies related to training program management, including program lifecycle requirements, financial requirements, managing training facilities, management of instructors, instructional technology, and other factors that support a quality training program. Prerequisites: ICS-100 prerequisite; ICS-200 prerequisite; Q0462 preferred; Q0463 preferred.

The methods of assessment include examinations, presentations, and written papers with a minimum passing score of 70 percent.

The methods of instruction include discussion and lecture. The general course topics include training management; establishing training policies, procedures and standards; developing an annual training plan; marketing the training plan; secure and manage resources; develop and manage the budget; and evaluating training programs.
