Earning Criteria

  • The methods of assessment include examinations with a minimum passing score of 70 percent.
  • The methods of instruction include lecture, discussion, and classroom exercise. The general course topics include introduction to life safety systems; fire alarm systems; smoke management; automatic fire sprinklers; water mist systems; standpipe systems; fire pumps; commercial cooking: ventilation and fire protection; and special agent systems.
