Fire Investigation: Essentials (R0772)(v.2)

The course objective allows students to demonstrate the ability to conduct science-based fire investigations that culminate, when appropriate, in prosecution for the crime of arson. Prerequisites: ICS 100 and ICS 200 level training. Q0462 and Q0463 – preferred. Chief's signature attests that the applicant has completed required training. Applicants must provide a copy of their CFITrainer.Net transcript and documentation to support the pre-requisite requirements at the time of application.

Earning Criteria

The methods of assessment include written papers, examinations, presentations, performance rubrics/checklists, with a minimum passing score of 80%.
