NHA’s Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) certification may be earned by eligible candidates who pass the CMAA exam, which is designed to assess evaluate the knowledge and skills associated with the performance of tasks required for entry-level practice as a medical administrative assistant. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must either complete a training program or have relevant work experience. NHA does not provide qualifying training. The cut score for this exam is 390.
