NHA’s Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A) certification may be earned by eligible candidates who pass the CPCT exam, which is designed to assess knowledge and skills associated with critical competencies of entry-level patient care technician/assistant. To be eligible for the exam, candidates must either complete a training program or have relevant work experience. NHA does not provide qualifying training. The cut score for this exam is 390
