Earners have engaged in intensive learning sessions, participated in weekly learning activities, and engaged in robust discussions with peers and facilitators, as well as completed the following assessment tasks to demonstrate their understanding of The Art and Science of Business Strategy.

Prepared a briefing document report of a public company’s external environment and industry environment, using company’s latest annual report, supplemented by additional research via the library and other publicly available sources to analyse and appraise the environments.

Prepared a 10-minute presentation to the company board describing the firm’s unique set of resources and capabilities across multiple dimensions, including risk assessment, organisational capacity and analysis of the chosen public company. Participants are also required to respond as a board member/peer reviewer of peers.

Prepared a consultative plan as a group assignment, that analyses the annual report of assigned company by including external and industry analysis, analysis of company’s unique resources and capabilities, a SWOT analysis and strategic recommendations to take the company in a new direction.
Standards
