Earners have engaged in intensive learning sessions, participated in weekly learning activities, and engaged in robust discussions with peers and facilitators, as well as completed the following assessment tasks to demonstrate their understanding of Leading Strategic Innovation.

Prepared a business report on a selected business start-up, showcasing understanding of the business, its market and potential opportunity it presents, supported by critical analysis of design thinking behind the business, the entrepreneur/s, and the organisational culture and risks taken.

Completed a business plan of a viable new venture idea that included design thinking scenarios with evidence to support the venture’s competitive positioning, customer need and outlined clear direction for venture’s success via financial modelling.

Presented a group pitch to potential investors in a compelling manner, including financial and competitive analysis to provide evidence for the sustainability of the business, underpinned by practical application of the key concepts, principles and theory to support the new venture.
Standards
